Dothan Revival
A thoughtful transformation proves great design isn’t reserved for large homes or unlimited budgets. Dothan Revival reimagined this 1970s Spring Hill pool home through strategic space planning, a redesigned kitchen layout, refreshed bathrooms, and layered finish selections, making the home feel brighter, larger, and more functional. Every decision was made to maximize impact while creating a home that feels timeless, welcoming, and built for everyday living.
DOTHAN REVIVAL
Interior Renovation | Spring Hill, Florida
Thoughtful design. Smarter living. Bigger impact.
Dothan Revival began with a 1970s pool home that felt small, dated, and disconnected from the way modern homeowners live today.
Working within a disciplined budget, our goal wasn’t simply to update finishes—it was to rethink how the home functioned.
By strategically redesigning the kitchen layout and reworking the surrounding spaces, we created improved circulation, increased storage, and opened the home visually, making the primary living areas feel significantly larger and brighter.
Throughout the renovation, every selection was made to maximize impact while remaining approachable and intentional.
Soft greens, warm woods, layered neutrals, and timeless materials create a home that feels calm, welcoming, and refreshed without sacrificing practicality.
The kitchen became the heart of the transformation.
Expanded storage solutions, improved functionality, and a more open relationship to adjacent living spaces allowed this compact footprint to live far beyond its square footage. Custom cabinetry details, updated lighting, and durable finish selections elevated everyday use while maintaining warmth and character.
The bathrooms were completely redesigned to feel lighter, cleaner, and more cohesive with the rest of the home. Material selections introduced subtle color, texture, and warmth while creating spaces that feel elevated and approachable.
Architectural updates throughout the home—including flooring, lighting, paint selections, and custom wainscoting—helped create moments of character and visual continuity from room to room.
