One of our most heartfelt projects was working with a wonderful couple to design their dream home in the picturesque golf community of Southern Hills in Brooksville, Florida.
The Beginning: A Shared Vision
Every project starts with discovery and consultation. Eryn, who oversees our client relationships and project management, takes the time to listen closely to our clients, understanding their needs, style, and vision while keeping their budget in mind. This particular couple was building a new home together, and we were honored to help bring their dream to life.
Together, we developed a general design plan, confirmed the scope of work, and curated selections that reflected their unique tastes. Custom closets, built-ins, paint colors, plantation shutters, and lighting were all carefully chosen to enhance the home’s flow, functionality, and ambiance. Detailed mood boards allowed them to see their vision take shape, ensuring every detail aligned perfectly.
The Unexpected Transition
During the curation phase of the project, tragedy struck with the unexpected passing of the wife. This heartbreaking loss shifted not only the personal journey of our client but also the course of our design. With great sensitivity, Eryn worked alongside the husband to transition from a four-bedroom new build to a three-bedroom condo, ensuring that his wife’s design choices remained an integral part of the new space.
Honoring a Legacy Through Design
While the setting changed, the essence of their shared vision remained. Michelle, who leads the design and installation portion of our projects, adapted our logistical and design plan, retrofitting selected furnishings and finishes into the new condo. Every design decision was made with care, ensuring the space was not only a reflection of their original dream but also a comfortable and cozy home for the husband to enjoy with his family.

Once the revised design was approved, Michelle and the team managed everything from product ordering to coordinating with the builder, ensuring a smooth transition. The final result was a warm, inviting home that honored his wife's vision while creating a space where he could build new memories.
