Layered & Livable: A Serene Florida Bedroom with Bold Navy Accents

At Anemone Interiors, we believe bedrooms should feel like a personal retreat—inviting, grounded, and reflective of the people who live in them. This recent bedroom installation, part of our larger #MahjongMaster project, is 95% complete and already radiating calm, quiet luxury.

Navy Bedroom

We began with a calm, sand-colored damask wallpaper that adds softness without stealing attention.

The room’s anchor is a deep navy geometric rug that grounds the space and introduces a bold, masculine counterpoint to the light flooring and upholstered bed. This contrast brings energy while remaining soothing—exactly what we envisioned.

Blue Bedding

Custom bedding with navy and white layers adds both depth and comfort.

The bed itself is a clean-lined upholstered frame in a pale linen blend, paired with crisp navy-and-white bedding that feels fresh yet timeless. We layered in multiple patterns to keep things interesting without overwhelming the senses.

Bedroom Design

Symmetry in the nightstands, lamps, and windows supports the calming rhythm of the space.

The twisted wood lamps, brushed brass hardware, and off-white furnishings keep the palette tonal and natural. The windows, framed with the client’s existing simple panels, bring in beautiful Florida light and offer a connection to the outdoors.

Serene Bedroom Design

An ombré pot with a live olive tree and sculptural lamp completes this livable vignette.

We brought in organic texture through styling—an ombré planter with a faux olive tree, clear glass vessels, and fresh florals add a lived-in feel that’s still polished. Everything in this space was chosen to feel both beautiful and functional.

And yes—this bedroom is just the beginning. Next up: the living room. We can’t wait to share the full home soon!
